Tea Time! I have several tea pots and cups that I set about the art room for students to draw.
In this assignment my students could choose a teapot to draw from several around the art room.  We talked about complimentary colors and they were to use a complimentary color combination on their table cloth in the picture.  Students were also reminded to draw what they see, not what their brain tells them is real.  Children will draw the top edge of the cup a circle, rather than an ellipse because they know the cup is round on top.  But when viewed on a table, we really don't see the circle shape!
